Fine Fabrics

The exquisite cotton flannel is from Osaka, Japan, from a 200 year old mill, known more recently for producing the finest Americana, heritage and workwear fabrics made anywhere. Austin and Osaka teamed to find a flannel that is light and supple, with a flattering drape, yet is also sturdy and warm. The pattern is pure vintage delight, delicious to look at in this decade or any other.

Fine Weather

Fall in the Texas Hill Country starts as a rumor, a quite murmur heard in the evening shadows of October. Then suddenly one November morning, you can hear a dog barking three miles away, crisp and staccato through bone cold air. These magic shirts gets you through the quite part, and the loud part, and on through cool spring, with the movement, grace and dignity of a horseman.  Let the lumberjacks, burdened with bulky buffalo plaids, wander lost in the forest. You are a Hill Country man.

"If you ever found a flannel in your granddad's closet that was worn in yet still good as new, and in a vintage pattern they only made in the old days — that's the shirt we were after. It'll last long enough to be buried in."
